Robert Osborne is the founder and security architect of Duke Labs LLC, a United States technology company developing autonomous security systems for decentralized networks. He is the author of the Agent Duke Protocol, a patented Safety-as-a-Service architecture for multi-chain validation, autonomous threat detection, and forensic intelligence.

His work is concentrated on a single structural problem: decentralized systems have adopted autonomous execution faster than they have developed mechanisms capable of governing it. Osborne's response was to design security as a protocol rather than as a practice — a deterministic decision layer that sits in the execution path, evaluates every action before settlement, and produces defensible evidence for each decision it renders.

In autonomous security, he architected the Sentinel Layer, the enforcement plane that applies declarative policy at the moment of action and executes interdiction without human dispatch. The design prioritizes pre-settlement prevention over post-settlement detection, reflecting the irreversibility of finality on public networks.

In agentic AI, he focuses on the governance surface between autonomous agents and irreversible systems: how delegated authority is expressed, bounded, verified, and revoked at machine speed. This work produced the protocol's agent bindings and guardrail model, which allow agent frameworks to submit intent for validation before acting.

In multi-chain forensic intelligence, he leads the development of the Forensic Intelligence Suite, which reconstructs cross-chain incidents into attributed, timeline-complete narratives with preserved chain-of-custody metadata suitable for enterprise incident response, insurer review, and regulatory disclosure.

In protocol architecture, he established the design constraints that define Duke Labs engineering: determinism, uniform semantics across heterogeneous networks, evidence as a default output, and automatic coverage expansion through Universal Chain Discovery. These constraints govern every subsystem the company ships.

Osborne leads Duke Labs' technical direction, protocol governance, and enterprise architecture engagements, working directly with enterprise, cloud, and infrastructure partners on production deployments.
